Obituary: Cynthia L. “Cindy” CRANCE, 74, of Belmont

Cynthia L. “Cindy” CRANCE, 74, of Belmont, NY, died Monday, September 30, 2024 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.  Born January 1, 1950, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Helen MaCauley Crance.  A graduate of Scio Central School, she was employed by Highland Park as a nurse’s aide and Giant in Wellsville.  Surviving are: a son, Jerome (Andrea) Hurd of Delta, CO; three grandchildren, Austin Hurd, Cheyenne Hurd, and Tyler Hurd; two sisters, Sheila (Tom) Smith of Wellsville and Roxanne Clark of Scio; nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her mother, Helen; and a daughter, Sonya Hurd.  Cremation was at OLNEY-FOUST Private Crematory.  Services will be private.  Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org or National Breast Cancer Foundation at www.nationalbreastcancer.org.  Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.wellsvillefuneralhome.com.
