For Immediate Release Incident Type: Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree Incident
Date: March 22, 2024 Location: Chaffee Road, Town of Arcade Deputy: Deputy Murray Person[s] Involved: Christopher Ruehl, 40, Houghton, NY Details: On March 22, 2024 at approximately 5:04 P.M. a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Deputy stopped a vehicle for a lighting violation on Chaffee Road in the Town of Arcade. After a DMV check it was found the driver, Christopher Ruehl, 40, of Houghton had a suspended New York State drivers license. Ruehl was arrested and charged with VTL 511 2(A4) Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree along with other VTL infractions. RUEHL was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in Arcade Town Court on April 11, 2024.
