Alleged Wellsville gunman faces a bevy of charges, sent to jail - UPDATED WITH PHOTO

Date: Saturday March 23, 2024 

Wellsville Police arrested William T. Wojehowski, age 37 of Wellsville, charging him with four counts of Menacing a Police Officer (Class D Felony), four counts of Reckless Endangerment 1^st (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th (Class A Misdemeanor).  The charges stem from an incident that took place on West State Street on March 18^th.  Wojehowski was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Wojehowski was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $25,000.00 cash bail or $50,000.00 property bond or $250,000.00 partially secured bond.  Wojehowski is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 2^nd at 4:30 pm.
