Obituary: Rachael Ann Bice, 31, formerly of Ulysses
Rachael Ann Bice DAVIS, 31, of Middlebury Center, PA, formerly of Ulysses, died Thursday, January 11, 2024 in UPMC Williamsport. Born February 24, 1992, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Scott A. and Nancy J. Baumgarner Bice. On August 16, 2014, at Triple D Farms in Middlebury Center, she married Jared C. Davis, who survives. A 2010 graduate of Northern Potter High School, she earned an associate degree for medical assistant from Penn College and was a licensed phlebotomist. She and her husband owned and operated Triple D Farms, Triple D Maple, and Triple D Cabins. Her most important roles were of wife and mother. Rachael was a member of The First Baptist Church of Ulysses. Surviving besides her husband, Jared, are: her parents, Scott and Nancy Bice of Ulysses; three children, Lainey Davis, Letty Davis, and Judd Davis; a sister, Kayla (Bryan Simar) Kalasnik of Ulysses; a brother, Cody (Abigail Kio) Bice of Ulysses; a bonus brother, Nathen Moon; nieces and nephews, Kinley, Rippin, Adeline, Jayce, Violet, soon to be baby boy Bice, Charlie, Grayson, Ripken, Nick, Zack, Kristyn, Courtney; paternal grandmother, Freda Bice of Ulysses; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Elaine Davis of Middlebury Center; brother-in-law, Matthew (April) Davis of Murfreesboro, TN; sister-in-law, Kim Miller-Davis of Houston, TX; aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant baby; grandparents, Lowell and Ann Baumgarner and David Bice; and brother-in-law, Tom Davis. Friends may call Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at The First Baptist Church of Ulysses, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Marty Zdrojewski will officiate. The family requests that those attending the funeral wear red, Rachael’s favorite color. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
