Obituary: Eric R. Wheeler, 35, Wellsville/Angelica
Eric R. Wheeler, 35, of North Brooklyn Ave. in Wellsville passed away Monday (Dec. 21, 2020) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester from complications of the Covid-19 Virus.Born in Wellsville, May 24, 1985 the son of Richard “Pee Wee” Claypool and Judy Wheeler, he had resided nearly all his life in Angelica. He had attended Genesee Valley High School, and received his GED. He was most recently employed in the maintenance department at the Wellsville Manor.
Eric was a member of the North East Demolition Derby and the Western New York Demolition Derby. He was also a member of the Angelica Fire Department.
He is survived by his mother; Judy (Dan Clapp) Wheeler of Bolivar, his father, Richard “Pee Wee” (Marilyn ) Claypool of Angelica, his girlfriend ; Christina Schroeder of Wellsville, his children; Jameson Irish of Bolivar and Makenzie Wheeler of Wellsville, his sister; Cherl (Lee) Prentice of Angelica and his brother; Richard (Anna) Claypool of Bolivar, several nieces & nephews including; Brandon Prentice, Taylor Prentice, Hayley Prentice, Jillian Claypool, BriAna Claypool, and Dakota Claypool.

The family will be present to receive friends on Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 28 and 29, 2020) at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave, in Angelica from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. There will be no services. Those attending calling hours are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. There are limitations on the number of people that can occupy the funeral home at one time, so you might be asked to remain outside for a short period of time in order to comply with the Covid-19 restrictions.
