Steuben County legislator arrested for patronizing a prostitute

On August 12, 2020, State Police arrested Steven Maio, age 55, of Corning for Patronizing a Prostitute 3rd Degree.
Maio was given an appearance ticket returnable on August 27th at 4:30 p.m. to the town of Hornellsville Court. According to the Steuben County website, Maio, a Democrat, represents the City of Corning. His attorney, Chris Tunney, has no comment on the arrest. County officials also declined to comment.
