Bolivar-Richburg school received new round of funding
New funding is headed to the Bolivar-Richburg school
district. Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced approval of 148 Smart Schools
Investment Plans aimed at improving school security and reimagining teaching
and learning for the 21st century. The approved plans, totaling $94 million,
are part of the $2 billion Smart Schools Bond Act. The Bolivar-Richburg
District will receive $589,393. Most of the funds will be directed to classroom
technology, while $43,000 will be used for school connectivity.
