Fireworks, patriotic music planned for Andover July 4th

Due to unprecedented events, the Andover 4th of July official parade, fairgrounds, and fireworks have been cancelled. However, Dick and Charlie Joyce along with the Andover Haunted House have come together to provide a fireworks display on the 4th of July. The fireworks will not be shot from the school grounds but should be visible throughout the village. Other community members will be hosting a local parade at 10:30 a.m. Please remain at home or in your vehicles as the parade will travel along the side streets only. The Andover Traveling Basketball Team will also have a chicken bbq starting at 11:30 a.m. at Certified Traffic Control. Feel free to enjoy the events while practicing social distancing following all safety precautions in regards to Covid-19. During the fireworks display, WZKZ (101.9 FM) will be playing patriotic music in concert with the display.
