On April 19, 2020, Wyoming County Sheriff Deputies responded to Wolcott Road in the Town of Wethersfield after receiving a complaint. An investigation stemming from this complaint led to the arrest of Austin Bollinger, 26, of Gainesville for Rape in the Second Degree and Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree (both Class D Felonies). Bollinger is accused of having sexual intercourse and oral sexual contact with a child less than 15 years of age. He was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail. He is to appear back in the Town of Wethersfield Court in May.
