PA: Department of Health Provides Update on COVID-19, 207 New Positives Bring Statewide Total to 851

The Pennsylvania Department of Health now says there are 207 additional positive cases of COVID-19, and four new deaths, bringing the statewide total to 851 in 40 counties. Bradford County has confirmed its first presumptive positive case of COVID-19. State Health Department officials say they will continue to monitor the individual. As WENY News reported, Guthrie confirmed a Pennsylvania resident tested positive for the coronavirus at Corning Hospital before returning home to the Commonwealth. Officials now say this is not the same case as the Bradford County patient who tested positive. Bradford County health officials say they have been preparing for the virus, with the anticipation that it would appear in the county.
