Police recover body in Letchworth State Park

New York State Park Police, today, in conjunction with the New York State Police and New York State Forest Rangers recovered a human body from the Letchworth Gorge stemming from an investigation which started Sunday evening. Members from the State Park Police High Angle Rescue Team partnered with the State Police Aviation Unit as well as State Forest Rangers to complete the recovery without incident. Members of the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations continue to investigate the identity and circumstances of the death.
