Popular Wellsville bridge to close "indefinitely"

As of December 18^th the Weidrick Road Bridge will be CLOSED to all traffic until further notice. The New York State Department of Transportation issued a Red Flag notice, closing the bridge due to "issues." Highway Superintendent Dean Arnold said he has been busy working with state and federal officials. He said Tuesday afternoon the bridge will be "closed indefinitely." The 66-year-old bridge is slated to be replaced in 2020.
