Town of Alma schedules two public hearings

The Alma Town Board has scheduled two public hearings for December. The first hearing involvesd Local Law #3 of 2019 and calls for changing the Town Highway Superintendent position from elective to appointed. It's subject to a mandatory referendum. The hearing begins at 6 p.m. next Tuesday. Another hearing, set for 6:15 p.m. that same day, involves Local Law #4 of 2019 and calls for reducing the number of members on the Board of Assessment Review. Both hearings will take place at the Alma Town Hall, located on Allen Street in Allentown.
