Early voting "impressive" in Allegany County

Early voting ended at 2 p.m. Sunday in Allegany County. According to the county Board of Elections office in Belmont, 258 people took advantage of the process. One election staffer called the turnout "impressive." Those votes, we're told, will be counted on Tuesday with the traditional ballots. Steuben County had 313 people take advantage of early voting. In New York state, outside of New York City, 196,141 people voted early. New York City recorded just 60,000 +/- votes.
