More Kmart stores to close - Steuben to feel the pain

More Kmart and Sears stores will close by the end of the year. According to USA Today, weeks after announcing 26 Sears and Kmart locations would close in October, nearly 100 additional stores are facing a similar fate in December or sooner. In Steuben County, the Kmart store in Bath will close soon. The store manager confirmed the announcement. Earlier this year, Wellsville’s Kmart was shuttered. On Saturday, crews removed the large red sign from the building. Kmart first came to Wellsville in 1976.
