The operator and the other three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Collision Reconstruction Unit assisted in this investigation.
No names will be released until notifications are made. Once families have been notified an updated release will be sent out.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
Scanner traffic from Allegany County 911 suggested that one of more occupants were ejected or partially ejected from the vehicle.

This is one of the most significant vehicle crashes ever, in Allegany County. In 1995 four people were also initially killed when a car crashed on County Road 28 (East State Ext) in the Town of Wellsville. Killed in that crash, which was believed at the time to be the worst single automobile crash ever in Allegany County, were James A. Morley, 26; Daniel Payne, 28; and Deborah Dibble, 32, all of Wellsville; and Ms. Dibble's brother, Steve, 29, of Worcester, Mass.
