Addison man arrested after choking incident

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on January 18, 2019, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Charles J. Johnson, age 28, of Academy Street, Addison, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Johnson obstructed the breathing of another individual while in the presence of a child. Mr. Johnson was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child. Mr. Johnson was arraigned in the Town of Erwin Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail.
