ACCORD Corporation’s Business Assistance Program is proud to
announce the Five Star Bank Technical Assistance Program of 2019. As part of
this program, ACCORD will be awarding up to ten $500
grants to local entrepreneurs in Allegany, Cattaraugus, or Steuben counties to
help with expenses related to starting or growing their businesses. Examples of
eligible activities include, but are not limited to: business registration
fees, promotional video/photography, design (logos, branding), printing costs
(such as business cards or flyers), website development, domain name
registration, general marketing expenses (advertising, social media support,
etc.), and the purchase of supplies or equipment.
Applications for this microgrant will be due to ACCORD by
February 28th and should be distributed in March 2019. If chosen,
the entrepreneur will be awarded 75% at the time of selection, and the
remaining 25% will be released at the end of project when a Completion Report
is submitted. Microgrant applicants will be required to submit an application
with supporting documentation and sign up for the free technical assistance
program with the ACCORD Allegany Business Center.
