On Monday at 9:09 a.m. Amity-based state police arrested Matthew B.
Blank, 30, of Andover for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance,
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and traffic violations. During
a traffic stop on State Route 19 in the town of Scio, Troopers discovered Blank
had been operating his vehicle while his license was under three suspensions.
They arrested Blank for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
(Second Degree). While taking Blank into custody, he was allegedly found to be
in possession of a substance determined to be methadone hydrochloride. Blank
was arrested and released with appearance tickets returnable to Scio Town Court
later this month.
