Court action for Fillmore man charged with impaired driving

Derrick Barney, 39, of Fillmore was arrested by Wyoming County deputies following a traffic stop that occurred on State Route 436 in the Town of Genesee Falls. Barney was stopped for speeding. Deputies said he failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for impaired driving. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with a Blood Alcohol Content 0.08%, and Speed in Zone. He is to appear in the Town of Genesee Falls Court on January 9, 2019.
