When the Allegany County Legislature convenes in regular session Tuesday afternoon, lawmakers are expected to set a public hearing on a local law that will increase the compensation for ten department heads. The hearing date, if approved, will be held at 2 p.m. October 22, 2018 in the legislative chambers.
Below is the resolution that will grant the pay increases, following public input:

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Legislators of the County of Allegany, State of

County Treasurer - $87,624
New York, as follows:
Section 1. Commencing January 1, 2019, the annual salary of the incumbents
of the following County offices shall be as follows:
