Steuben CCE celebrates centennial

BATH – More than 100 residents celebrated Steuben County Cornell Cooperative Extension’s 100th anniversary Friday night at the Pleasant Valley Winery in Hammondsport. Organizers said the event honored Steuben’s strong historical ties to agriculture and farming, while looking forward to a strong vision of the future. The celebration included recognition by county Legislature Chairman Joe Hauryski, R-Campbell, and representatives of state Sen. Tom O’Mara, R-Big Flats and state Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, R-Corning.
