Scio woman receives 5 year prison sentence for Angelica break-in
A Scio woman is headed to state prison for her involvement in a felony crime on Main Street in the village of Angelica on April 28, 2018. Hannah Jones was first charged with 2nd degree burglary, but later pleaded guilty to attempted burglary, a class D felony. Judge Thomas Brown sentenced Jones to five years in prison today in Allegany County court. In addition, Jones must serve five years post-release supervision, pay a surcharge of $325 and a $50 DNA fee. According to a press release from the District Attorney's Office, Jones and two others broke into a house and stole various items. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney J. Thomas Fuoco; Jones was represented by attorney John Nelson.
