Dalton Lee Osgood, 18, of Shinglehouse, PA, died
unexpectedly on Friday, August 24, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an
auto accident. Born September 8, 1999,
in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Justin Osgood and Beth Carr. Dalton lived his life in Shinglehouse, PA and
attended Oswayo Valley School. He was
employed by Shutt Logging and Top Notch Enterprises. Dalton had a very gentle and kind nature, he
loved hunting, fishing, video games, diesel trucks and following in his dad’s
footsteps of logging and operating heavy equipment, which he had been doing
from an early age making him an excellent operator. Surviving besides his parents are: a brother,
Reece Osgood; a half-brother, Brent
Dietze; his paternal grandparents, Gayle
and Dennie Clark of Belmont, NY, Ray and Sandy Osgood of Sabinsville, PA; maternal grandparents, Shirley Carr of
Shinglehouse and Tom Carr of Shinglehouse;
a special cousin, Makenzie Carr;
special friends, Leo Shutt, Corey James, Shawn Jones, and Spencer
Cole; many aunts, uncles, and
cousins. Memorials may
be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
