Livingston Deputies: Angelica woman possessed 36 bags of heroin

INTERSTATE 390: Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of an Angelica, NY woman on drug related charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 390.
On August 3, 2018 Deputy Jason Butterbrodt was assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Operation Safe Interstate initiative when he stopped a vehicle for a violation of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law.
During the course of the traffic stop the Deputy Sheriff discovered that a passenger in the vehicle, 39-year-old Sarah J. Ehrman, was allegedly in possession of thirty-six bags of heroin.
Erhman was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.
Ehrman was turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Ehrman was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Leicester Judge Rich White. The Judge remanded Ehrman to the custody of the Sheriff on $100 cash bail or $200 bond.
