Woman pleads guilty to drug crime in Allegany County

A woman who was stopped by police on State Route 275 in Friendship on March 6, 2018, pleaded guilty Monday in Allegany County court to drug crimes. Stephanie Gould, 33, of Ashville, NY took and deal and entered pleas to criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th and criminal possession of stolen property 5th. She was originally charged with higher degrees of those crimes, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and six other traffic infractions. Judge Terrance Parker sentenced Gould to time already served in the county jail, five years probation, a $325 court surcharge and a DNA fee. According to prosecutors, Gould was operating a motor vehicle that was stolen from Pennsylvania, while having numerous suspensions on her license. When police inventoried the vehicle, hypodermic needles and bags of Amphetamine were found. Gould was represented by JR Carter. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Tom Fuoco.
