Obituary: Jerold Wright Morey, Wellsville

Jerold Wright Morey, Wellsville, NY, died unexpectedly in February 2018.  He was predeceased by his parents, George William Morey, Sr. and Rowena Wright Morey Hamilton; grandparents, Walter and Jessie Wright, William Henry and Genevieve Clark Morey.  Surviving are: brothers, George (Linda) Morey Jr. and Douglas (Barbara) Morey; sisters, Marie (George) Follett and Dianne (Alex) Szczupakowski;  his beloved feline companions, Zippy, Martin, and Shadow;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  A Kendall High School graduate, his interests included animal welfare, conservation, history, and cars.  He was an active volunteer and supporter of the SPCA serving Allegany County.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m.Saturday May 12, 2018 at Lakeside Cemetery, Moscow Road, Hamlin, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Allegany County SPCA, P.O.
