Potter County: Woman gets prison time for drug overdose death
A woman is headed to prison after she provided
fentanyl-laced heroin to a Coudersport man that resulted in his overdose death.
In Potter County court, a judge sentenced 33-year-old Desiree Tipping of
Lewistown to serve 5-10 years in prison. The drug sale happened in Galeton in
November 2015. 47-year-old Michael Langworthy purchased 10 packets of heroin
and was later found dead in his vehicle. Tipping was convicted of drug delivery
resulting in death.
