Obituary: Timothy G. Gaines, 61, Bolivar

Bolivar - Timothy G. Gaines, 61, of 156 Reed St. passed away Sunday December 24, 2017 in Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville. Born March 10, 1956 in Bradford, PA. he was the son of Wilbur and Jean Lananger Gaines and the stepson of Lawrence Stives. Tim spent many years working in the oil industry throughout Oklahoma and Texas. Upon returning to his home town of Bolivar, he became an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed dancing and being with friends. He has many special friends that will forever remember Tim and will always carry his memory in their hearts. Surviving are his mother Jean Stives of Bolivar; Five children, Curtis Henderson, Matt Weaver, Tabitha Rattler, Brandon (Loretta) Gaines, Chasity (Ivan) Copenhaver.Eleven ; grandchildren, Britanny, Destiny, Justin, Timothy, Hayley, Jerimia, Hailey, Lexi, Bryannan, Wyatt and Jocelyn and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Michael (Daya) Gaines, Wilbur Gaines Jr.; Two Sisters Valerie (Harold) Small, Tonya (Rahamon) Phillips. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Bolivar Fire Hall. Pastor David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery Bolivar. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
