Belmont man receives 5 days in jail for felony DWI
A Belmont man will serve five days in the Allegany County Jail after he pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated. That sentence was handed down Tuesday to Donald W. Schultz, 47, of Belmont. In April, Schultz was stopped by police in Almond. He was initially charged with felony DWI, refusal to take a breath test and two traffic infractions. In addition to the drive by at jail, Judge Terry Parker also sentenced him to three years conditional discharge, three years ignition interlock device, $1,520 in fines and surcharges and Parker told Schultz he'll need to attend a victim impact panel.
