Allegany County Legislature meets Jan. 8 - what they plan to do

When the Allegany County Legislature meets on Monday, here's what the gang will vote on -
  1. Allowing the county to deposit up to $25 million with First Citizens National Bank. Here is the break down of banks the county will do business with-
  2. Reappoint Michael D. Hennessey as Director of the County Veterans' Service Agency (a no brainer).
  3. Create the position of full-time Planning and Development Specialist (AFSCME, Grade 13) is created in the Office of Planning.
  4. Kimberley Toot of Wellsville, New York, Dorothy Lendel of Caneadea, New York, Brent L. Reynolds of Alfred Station, New York, Darwin Fanton of Wellsville, New York, and Brenda Rigby Riehle of Belmont, New York are reappointed as members of the Allegany County Board of Ethics to serve at the pleasure of the Board of Legislators with term of office commencing January 1, 2018, and expiring December 31, 2021.
  5. The Chairman of the Board plans to appoint Paula Van Dyke of Amity, New
    York (District II), to a three-year term as a member of the Allegany County Planning Board commencing January 1, 2018, and expiring December 31, 2020.
    That James Ninos of Alfred, New York (District V), and John Stoltzfus of
    Independence, New York (District III), are reappointed to the Allegany County Planning Board, with term of office commencing January 1, 2018, and expiring December 31, 2020.
