Garage in Cuba damaged by fire

Cuba firefighters were called out at 2:43 a.m. today to a reported "fully involved garage fire" at 8933 Spring Valley Road. Within minutes Cuba volunteers were on the road. Additional help was initially called in from Friendship and New Hudson. According to tax records, the garage is detached from the residence. The blaze was quickly brought under control and mutual aid equipment was released within 45 minutes. Multiple fire investigators were dispatched to the scene to identify the cause and origin. Cuba equipment left the scene at 4:18 a.m. There were no injuries.
