Alfred Station man will spend Christmas behind bars

State Police Monday afternoon arrested David E. Thomas, 37, of Alfred Station. He was charged by Troopers with felony 2nd degree burglary, misdemeanor counts of 3rd degree menacing and 4th degree stalking. He was also charged with the violation offense of 2nd degree harassment. The alleged crimes occurred in the Town of Alfred. Arraigned in court, Thomas was remanded to the Allegany County Jail. A judge denied bail. Thomas won't return to court until February 7th.
