Obituary: Patricia Annabell Kalkhof, 87, Hornell - Scio native
Patricia Annabell Kalkhof, 87, passed away Sunday, October
1, 2017 in Elderwood at Hornell, NY following a lengthy illness. Born September
17, 1930, in Scio, NY, she was the daughter of Earl and Hazel Black
Angell. On March 10, 1950, in Scio, she
married Lyle F. Kalkhof, who survives. A
Scio Central School graduate, she studied the business curriculum and was
employed by Acme Electric Co. in Cuba, Western Union in Wellsville, and retired
from First Trust Bank in Wellsville. She
was a longtime member of the Christian Temple in Wellsville, now Grace United
Church. She and her husband resided in
Scio and wintered in Lakeland, FL. She
enjoyed time spent with her family and many friends and singing in church
choirs in Lakeland and Wellsville.
Surviving besides her husband, Lyle, are: a son, Tim (Mona Carbone) Kalkhof of Hornell,
NY; three grandchildren, Kayla Kalkhof,
Ethan Kalkhof, and Lucien Kalkhof; a
great-grandson, Blake Kalkhof; nieces,
nephews, and cousins. She was
predeceased by a son, Mark on October 11, 1979.
Friends are invited to a celebration of life service at Grace United
Church, Wellsville on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 11:30 AM. Pastor David Potts will officiate. Memorials may be made to Grace United Church,
