Obituary: Charles Hinkle, 64, formerly of Scio

Charles Raymond Hinkle, 64, formerly of Scio, NY, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Mt. View Hospital, Las Vegas, NV, following a lengthy illness.  Born August 28, 1953, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of John and Ella Antes Hinkle.  A graduate of Scio Central School, he served honorably with the US Army.  He was an over the road truck driver and resided in Nevada for the past 10 years.  Surviving are a son, Nicholas Stephen Hinkle;  three brothers, John (Jackie) Hinkle of Obi, NY, Howard (Julie) Hinkle of Scio, and Randy (Belinda) Hinkle of Rossiter, PA;  two sisters, Louella Culbert of Wellsville and Hazel (Rodney) Cornell of Scio;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Michael.  At his request, there will be no visitation or service.  Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Scio at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville, NY.
