Bolivar man gets limited jail time in criminal case
A Bolivar man accused of impaired driving received a limited jail sentenced today in Allegany County court. Frederick McDonald, 57, of Salt Rising Road was sentenced in court Monday to one weekend in county jail, a $1,000 fine, an $85 dollar surcharge and must also attend one victim impact panel. McDonald was arrested in February during a traffic stop and accused of driving under the influence of alcohol. He pleaded guilty last month to aggravated unlicensed operation and reckless driving. He originally faced felony and other counts.
