Tioga County: Man died in Pennsylvania crash

Pennsylvania State Police this morning released information about a fatal traffic crash that occurred late Sunday night in Tioga County. Troopers said 62-year-old Timothy Rollins of Canisteo was on State Route 49 and backing a milk tanker into a farm. At the same time, 64-year-old Tommy Causer of Osceola, PA was driving a pickup truck westbound on Route 49. Troopers said Causer failed to recognize the tanker was backing and struck the tanker trailer at a 90 degree angle. The pickup went under the tanker trailer and came to rest in a field. Causer was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma. No charges were filed.
