Obituary: Karen M. Jordan, 74, formerly of Bolivar
Orlando FL - Karen M. Jordan, 74, of 371 Woodbury Pines
Circle and a former Bolivar resident passed away Friday July 14, 2017
unexpectedly at home. Born February 13, 1943 in Coudersport Pa. she was the
daughter of Kenneth A. and Beatrice Barber Hackett. Karen married Douglas
Jordan on May 10, 1961 in Biloxi Ms. Mr. Jordan preceded her in death on
December 31, 1997. She was a graduate of Bolivar Central School class of
1961.Karen was employed in the cafeteria Deptartment of the Discovery Middle
School in Orlando retiring in 2005.Surviving are four children, Lori (Leon)
Lamb Bolivar, Cindy Jordan Orlando FL. Sheri (Kent) Johnson Wellsville, Jim
Giordano Murfreesboro TN; Seven grandchildren, Four great-grandchildren; Step Mother
Caroline Hackett Bolivar; One Sister Judy (Reg) Faulkner Wellsville; Two
brothers, Kenneth (Sharon) Hackett Wellsville, Karl (Alice) Hackett Bolivar; Two stepsisters Victoria Simard of Bolivar,
Jody (John) McLaughlin ,Bolivar; One stepbrother Jim Murray Georgia; Several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by one
sister Carolee Sherrife; One stepbrother Robert Hackett on December 29,
2015.Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Thursday
July 20, 2017 from 4-7 p.m.Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on
Friday July 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. Rev. David Herne of the Heritage AFlame
Ministries will officiate. Burial will be in Knights Creek Cemetery Scio. Memorials
to Paralyzed Veterans of America 801 18th St. N.W. Washington D.C. 20006.
