Obituary: Agnes I. Currier, 89, Wellsville UPDATED

Agnes I. CURRIER, 89, of Wellsville, NY, died Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, NY.  Born February 8, 1928, in Coudersport, PA, she was the daughter of Mart and Helen M. Pelchy Matteson.  She was married to Bert A. Currier, who predeceased her in 1964.  Mrs. Currier was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident.  Surviving are:  a son, Gerald (Bonnie) Currier of Alma, NY;  a daugher, Karry (Malcolm) Davison of Shinglehouse, PA;  a daughter-in-law, Kathie Currier of Ellisburg;  nine grandchildren;  11 great-grandchildren;  a brother, Marion (Mary) Matteson of Wellsville, NY;  and nieces and nephews.    In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Larry G. Currier and Wayne B. Currier;  three brothers, Orville Matteson, Alva Matteson, and Ernest N. Matteson;  and three sisters, Mildred Watson, Iva Austin, and Phyllis Denhoff.  Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 1:00 PM.  The Rev.
