Obituary: Gwynn Hoffman, 89, Mills, PA

Gwynn Hoffman, 89, of Mills, PA, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA.  Born April 12, 1928, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Oscar and Lillian Gwynnthorn Hoffman.  A graduate of the City College of New York, he retired from the Greyhound Bus Company in Manhattan as a ticket supervisor in 1992.  He was a member of the ACLU.  There are no known surviving relatives.  He was predeceased by his companion of many years, Lloyd N. Williams.  There will be no visitation or service.  Burial will be in Mills Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Westfield Public Library, 147 Maple Street, Westfield, PA 16950.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.olneyfuneralhome.com.
