Livingston County: Traffic Stop leads to Arrests

LIVONIA: Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty advises the arrest of
two Allegany County men and a Steuben County man following a traffic stop in
the Town of Livonia. On May 22nd Deputy Connor Sanford was assigned to the
Livingston County Sheriff's STOP DWI Unit. The Deputy Sheriff witnessed a
vehicle on Grayshores Road with a suspended registration and conducted a
traffic stop. The driver was identified as 18-year-old Gregory Dunne of
Andover. Dunne’s license was suspended
as well. There were also two passengers in the vehicle, 24-year-old Jasun
Shephard of Andover and 24-year-old Joey Traylor of Hornell. The vehicle was
registered to Shepard. Through the
roadside investigation Joey Traylor was allegedly found to be in possession of
a Hypodermic Instrument. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Gregory Dunne
was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the third degree along with
other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. Jasun Shephard was charged with the
misdemeanor of Facilitating Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended
Registration due to Dunne operating his vehicle while he was on suspended
license. Joey Traylor was charged with Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic
Instrument. All three men were released to appear in Livonia Town Court at a
later date.
