Obituary: Darlene M. Learn, 58, Portville

Portville - Darlene M. Learn, 58, of 32 South Main St. passed away on Monday April 24, 2017 in the Olean General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on July 1, 1958 in Olean, the daughter of Donn “Dick” and Jeannine Brundage Faulkner. Darlene was a graduate of the Richburg Central School class of 1976. She was a former employee of AVX Corp. in Olean. Surviving are her father Donn “Dick” Faulkner Richburg; three children, Holden Faulkner Portville, Brock Faulkner Friendship, Leala (Richard) Irvin Portville; six grandchildren; three sisters Kathy (Dan) Matacale of Wellsville, Vicki (Fred) Dearborn of Richburg, Dickee Pastor of Cuba;proceeded in death by her mother Jeannine Faulkner 2003, a grandson, Blazedyn Faulkner in 2014 and a sister Jeanie Maedl in 2014. Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar on Saturday from 12 noon- 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 2 p.m. Rev. David Herne of the Heritage AFlame Ministries in Bolivar will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Friendship. Memorial to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
