NY State Police Blotter

3/31/17 5:01pm- State police arrested Blake D. Cooper, 19, of Cheektowaga. He was charged with felony grand larceny of a firearm and petit larceny for an incident that occurred June 17, 2016 in Caneadea. He was also charged with felony burglary for an incident that occurred August 21, 2016 in the Town of Belfast. Bail was set at $5,000 cash.
3/31/17 3:08pm- State police arrested Matthew L. Szychowski, 32, of Lackawanna. He was charged with forcible touching for an alleged incident March 20, 2017 in West Almond. He was also charged with criminal contempt for allegedly disobeying a court order. That incident was reported march 31, 2017 in the Town of Almond. He was detained for court action.
3/31/17 11:55pm- During a traffic stop on State Route 19 in the Village of Belmont, state police arrested James M. Wearen, 25, of Rochester and Stephanie M. Schaffer, 32, of Dundalk, MD. Bother were charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Shaffer was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both were detained.
3/31/17 1:45pm- While conducting an investigation on Gargoyle Park Road in Allegany, state police arrested Dale M. Sutton, 42, of East Corning. He was charged with felony counts of manufacturing meth, criminal possession of meth and criminal possession of a narcotic drug. He was also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials and pot possession. He was detained.
3/31/17 3:10pm- State police arrested Brandon T. McPherson, 30 of Horseheads. He was charged with felony 2nd degree conspiracy following an alleged incident March 27 in Canisteo. He was held for court action.
4/1/17 3:45am- State police arrested Bridget E. Morrell, 26 of Wayne following a traffic stop in the Town of Bradford. She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
4/1/17 2:20am- During a traffic stop in the Town of Campbell, state police arrested William J. Hargrave, 52, of Bath. He was charged with felony grand theft-auto, felony aggravated unlicensed operation-alcohol and DWI. He was held for court action. Troopers also arrested Daren L. Phillips, 49 of Bath. He was charged with felony grand theft auto. He was also held for court.
