On October 22, 2019, at approximately 7:52 p.m. State Police in Bath investigated what appears to be an accidental incident that claimed the life of Gilbert Dingman, age 50, from Dansville. Troopers were called to a location on Sandy Hill Road, and observed a male, later identified as Mr. Dingman deceased under a vehicle. There were no signs of a struggle or foul play and the body was removed and taken to Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton for further examination. The investigation is continuing.
