Training Funds Available for Allegany County Residents

BELMONT, NY, August 27- Allegany County Employment & Training has Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funds to provide training to Allegany County residents.  The program is designed to provide financial assistance to individuals who need classroom training in order to gain skills that will improve their employment opportunities in high growth occupations.  Funds will help pay for tuition, fees and mileage costs.
Grants are approved based on eligibility guidelines, the strength of the application, and the availability of funds.  In order to receive grant funding, your request must go through the approval process.
