Wellsville Police arrested John E. Clark, age 64 of Alfred Station, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st (Class C Felony).  The charge stems from an incident that took place on the Bolivar Road in the Village of Wellsville when Clark allegedly attempted to pass a fake $100 bill.  Clark was processed and arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Justice Walsh.  He was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 18th at 4:30 p.m.
