Wellsville Police Blotter - UPDATED

Wellsville Police arrested Tara S. Howe, age 45 of Belfast, charging her with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and Improper or Unsafe Turn w/o signal.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on the Genesee Parkway in the Village of Wellsville.  Howe was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party.  Howe is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 11th at 4:30 p.m.


Wellsville police investigated a personal injury crash on upper Farnum Street at 1:35 a.m. Police said a vehicle operated by Brady Lewis, 25, of Wellsville was northbound when he lost control at a sharp curve and struck a tree. He was transported by Medical Transport Service to Jones Memorial for evaluation. He was ticketed with a speeding infraction and moving from a lane unsafely. He’ll answer the charges in village court June 11th.


Wellsville Police charged Dakota J. Sheets, age 26 of Wellsville with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd (unclassified misdemeanor) for driving with a suspended driver’s license.  The charge stems from a traffic stop on East Dyke Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Sheets was issued a traffic citation and released.  Sheets is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 11th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Chad M. Mulholland, age 49 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument 2nd and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on East State Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Mulholland was processed and arraigned before Town of Independence Justice Howe.  Mulholland was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 property bond.  Mulholland is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 p.m.


Wellsville Police arrested Desirae S. Miller, age 22 of Belmont, charging her with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more, AUO 3rd and No/Insufficient tail lamps.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on East State Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Miller was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party.  Miller is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 11th at 4:30 p.m.


Wellsville Police arrested Trebor A. McDonald, age 20 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal 
Contempt 2nd.  The charge stems from an incident that took place on Eaton Court in the Village of Wellsville.  McDonald was additionally charged with 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and 1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled substance 5th (Class D Felony) following the continued investigation into an incident and arrest that was made on May 16th.  McDonald was processed and arraigned before the Town of Friendship Justice Szucs.  McDonald was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $20,000.00 cash bail or $40,000.00 property bond.  McDonald is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 21st at 4:30 p.m.
