Obituary: Jerome A. “Jerry” Koch, 71, Little Genesee


Jerome A. “Jerry” Koch, 71, of Little Genesee, NY, formerly of Alden, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 in his home.   Born February 16, 1948, in Buffalo, he was the son of Alvin and Erna Birrer Koch.  On August 21, 1974, in St. John’s Church, Alden, he married the former Karen L.  Horton, who survives.  A 1967 graduate of West Seneca Senior High School, he served honorably with the US Army in the Vietnam War.  Jerry was a truck driver for Tops Markets.  An avid sportsman, he was a member of the NRA and Scope. Jerry attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hinsdale.  Surviving besides his wife, Karen, are:  a son, Wheeler (Katie Miszuk) Koch of Little Genesee; a grandson, Wheeler “Moon-Pie” Koch II; and a granddaughter, Kelsa “Moon-Shine” Koch.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Ward.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.wellsvillefuneralhome.com
