Wellsville Lions Club prepares for 74th annual show

Notes about the Wellsville Lions Club annual Variety Show:
  • It's one of the longest running shows in New York State Lions Clubs. 
  • It is a fundraiser featuring local Lions members who are businessmen, doctors, lawyers and area volunteers who give their time to help raise funds
  • This year's theme is TV Tunes which will have great theme songs from some great TV shows, like Happy Days, Cheers, Beverly Hillbillies, Bonanza and more...of course with the Wellsville Lions Club twist on humor  
  • Great and talented specialty acts will be performing

The Wellsville Lions Club has given over $1.1 million dollars back to the community,
Those who have benefited?
  1. Annual Trout Derby,
  2. Library Christmas Tree
  3. Main driving force behind Wellsville Ambulance building, also providing needed funds for emergency equipment.
  4. Support for local youth ports teams- various equipment needs and scoreboards.
  5. Community projects such as restoration of the clock, park benches, picnic tables, historical signage and much more...
  6. David Howe Library projects such as entrance to Nancy Howe auditorium, remodel of kitchen area, several building projects, donated large print books and needed equipment for visual impaired.     
  7. Wellsville Lions Diabetic Center at Jones Memorial Hospital - major fund raising and support to fight and educate this disease. 
  8. Scholarship funding for college bound graduates.
Everywhere in Wellsville and the surrounding area the Lions Club as been providing the funds and services needed to make this community great. The Wellsville Lions ask for you support in buying tickets to this year's show.  Come and enjoy a fun evening out .
