State police arrested Mary M. Hinckley, 57, of Belfast, NY for Petit Larceny and Misapplication of Property. Troopers investigating a theft complaint which was first reported on December 18, 2018 at a residence on County Road 18 in the town of Scio determined Hinckley had allegedly stolen multiple items from that residence. Hinckley was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for Scio Town Court for later this month.

State police arrested Juston W. Conklin, 26, of Almond for Assault. Troopers investigating a report of a dispute in front of a residence on Olean Street in the village of Angelica determined Conklin had allegedly caused injury by striking another party during a dispute. It was also determined Conklin had an outstanding bench warrant issued by the Angelica Town Court. Conklin was arrested and arraigned in Friendship Town Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond. He is due to return to Angelica Town Court later this month.
